Wedding News

Jon and Anthony have been fitted for their tuxes.  You other guys need to go get fitted too.  Just lettin’ you know.

I made a page with a listing of accomodations in the Crossville area. You can find it Here. I didn’t manage to call all of those places. But I did some. Anyway, that’s what’s here. There are a few more hotel/motel places on exit 322 I can add, if anyone requests.

So I got the invitations and they are absolutely gorgeous.  Then I went and got stamps.  Well, due to the recent spike in postage, the PO didn’t have a very good selection.  They didn’t have any pretty wedding stamps at all.  I ended up with…  Star Wars Commemorative stamps.  Yep.  So, when you get your invitation you can be amused

I picked up the invitations today and I think they look nice.  I’m happy with them.  Now to send them out!

Paid for the dress today.  So now I officially have a wedding dress.  That’s a step in the right direction.

The Invitations are at the printers.  I’ll pick them up on Friday, most likely, spend the weekend getting them in order, then send them out next week.  So be checking your mail!

Today I found my dress.  At Country Bumpkin in Cookeville.  I love that I am buying my dress from someplace named Country Bumpkin.  Anyway, the more I thought about the David’s Bridal dress the less thrilled I was.  They all look the same and I want something a little different and not so frilly.  I think I found something nice today, but it is still a little frilly.  But I like it a lot.  Hopefully I will pay for it next week.

I hurt myself with a corset trying on more dresses today.  Sure I said I found a dress in my last post, but apparently I have to keep trying them on.  I may find another one.  I did try on one I liked today.  So maybe I will get it instead.  It is cheaper.  Anyway, I’m probably going to go to Cookeville and look too, before I actually buy anything.

Found a dress!  Woo!  Tried on a bajillion.  They are heavy.  My favorite was when I was just wearing the corset and slip, though.  That was hot on me.  I’d rather wear just that than a dress.  Very hookerish.

I’m going to look at dresses today.  Hopefully I’ll find something.
